To Be Born is a short film about a young woman faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Out of fear and pressure from her boy-friend she seeks to have an abortion. In the midst of the procedure, she finds herself in a regrettable situation when she hears her unborn daughter begin to describe the chilling details of what is happening to her. Approximate run time: 15 minutes.

I really liked this film, though it is both disturbing and heart-wrenching. I liked it because it opened my eyes to the internal conflicts and turmoil young women deal with when they discover an unplanned pregnancy. I never imagined that it was easy but, before this film, I had never experienced such an empathetic identification with the overwhelming emotional and psychological challenges these young women face. It has moved me to a whole new level of prayer for the at-risk unborn babies and their young mothers. And, I pray that it will move many others to more fervent prayer for for these precious souls.
