This is my favorite Catholic response to the "Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus" YouTube video phenomenon. It is both creative and compelling.  I also have to give style points to Fr. Claude Burns (aka Fr. Pontifex) for his outstanding delivery of the Catholic message.

This new promo video for Wyoming Catholic College is impressive. GrassRoots Films (creators of the Human Experience) demonstrate once again their film making talent. The cinematography and production quality are top notch.

This is a very well presented introduction to the new translation of the Mass. It is presented by Dr. Edward Sri, Professor of Scripture and Theology at the Augustine Institute and the author of the best-selling book, A Biblical Walk Through the Mass: Understanding What We Say And Do In the Liturgy. Dr. Sri has a way of getting you excited about relearning our part in the liturgy of the Mass. And, since it is available via YouTube, it can be easily embedded in any Catholic Website and/or shared accross the web.

This video tells the story of a father who is rich in mercy and love. A father who is humble and grateful for each and every gift from God, regardless of what the world might think and say. A father who is courageous in his faith, bold enough to post this as a campaign video as he runs for the republican nomination for the presidency. Thank you Rick Santorum for sharing this story with us. God bless you!

As I was watching this spectacular show presented on the side of a building in Berlin, I initially thought about it as just that, a show. There was a sizable local crowd that was obviously engaged and entertained as the show progressed.

But then I remembered that this YouTube video link was forwarded to me. And, I'm quite sure, it has also been shared by many other viewers, including myself, since. Ultimately, this was not about the show or the local crowd that gathered to see it. From the very beginning, this was about viral marketing.

I've seen a few World Youth Day videos released following the event, but my favorite is this one produced by Life Teen. It truly captures the excitement and joy experienced by the young pilgrims. I pray that the closing words by Pope Benedict XVI will take root in these young people and build them up in the faith.

We are grateful for this touching farewell video put together by One Billion Stories. Over the past 14 years, Archbishop Charles Chaput has led the Archdiocese of Denver closer to Christ. This video is a short collection of clips from his last Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver. Archbishop, our prayers follow you to Philadelphia. You will be missed.

Defend Us in Battle did a great job producing this fun, youthful, high-energy video highlighting many of the things we identify with being Catholic. We are Catholic, and proud of it!

In this crazy, ever more frantic world of modern communications, it's nice to be reminded about how simple and powerful - how elegant branding really is. I came across this old video of Steve Jobs explaining how the Apple brand was going to reclaim that elegance. The emphasis of his talk is not about the technology or design, but about value and core values, which is what makes great brands. It's worth a watch.
