Upper Room Media is a web design, development, and marketing firm focused on serving Catholic institutions, organizations, and programs. We design and build Catholic websites that serve users, strengthen brands, and impact the world. Our multidisciplinary services include strategic planning, brand development, creative services, web design, web development, online marketing, training, website hosting and maintenance, and support.
Founded in 2009, Upper Room Media is headquartered near Denver, Colorado. We currently serve clients in the United States and Canada, but are open to working beyond the boundaries of North America. Our clients recognize the transformative impact of digital communications in our world, both positive and negative. They seek to leverage advanced tools and tactics in order to more effectively evangelize, educate, and inform this new generation of persistent digital media consumers and to help shift the overall balance of digital influence toward the positive and uplifting.
About Ken Heim
Ken is an active, fully engaged member of St. Thomas More Parish in the Archdiocese of Denver Colorado. He is a founding, leadership team member of his parish's renowned men's ministry program, Men For All Seasons. Ken has also served as chair of the communications committee for his parish's capital campaign. Outside his parish, he has faithfully served as a weekly catechism teacher in the archdiocesan prison ministry program since 2005.
Professionally, Ken has over twenty years of integrated marketing communications experience. His accomplishments include: responsibility for the top accounts ($4 million + in annual billings) at Barnhart/CMI, one of the region's largest full-service advertising agencies; directing the development and execution of the brand marketing program for eCollege.com, which became Colorado's fastest growing company at that time; and guiding comprehensive rebranding initiatives at Virginia Tech, Washington State University, Indiana State University, Regis University and other institutions. Ken is an active, contributing member of the Drupal open-source community and, in particular, the Denver/Boulder Users Group. Over the past three years he has also been a sponsor and key volunteer for DrupalCamp Colorado, where he has donated marketing, design, and production services.
